- 3 lbs beef
- 1 lb pork sausage
- 2 cans diced tomatoes make sure there’s no added sugar
- 4 cloves of minced garlic
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 4 tsp ground cumin
- 4 tsp salt
- 2 large onions chopped
- 1 tsp ground Oregano
- 6 tbs chili powder
- 4 bay leaves
- 2 oz chocolate use Lily’s brand that is sweetened with Stevia
Cook beef and sausage in a large stockpot.
Stir in tomatoes, garlic, coriander, cumin, salt, onions, oregano, and chili powder.
Simmer 1 hour.
Add bay leaves and cook 10 minutes.
Remove bay leaves and add chocolate. Stir to combine. Cook 10 minutes longer to blend flavors.
