How to Boost the Immune System

I often get asked about the best ways to “boost” the immune system, and my basic answer is: TRUST THE DESIGN….and then steward it, all year long.  
I know that many are hoping for an “easy button” answer or quick fix found in a supplement or gadget.  Although I’m not opposed to supplementing where deficient or supplementing or gadgeting to treat a symptom when symptoms appear to be overwhelming you, I don’t want to give the false impression that just taking some “immune support” is better than the unleashing the incredibly powerful and fully boosted original design already built in to you by your creator!
God has already designed and equipped you with a system that is capable of being fully “boosted” if you will unleash it to do what it is designed to do.  If you don’t get “the basics” down, then you are keeping your immune system cells handicapped by tying one hand behind their back.  

You cannot supplement or gadget your way to health, but you can believe in and steward what you already have access to, what is already built in and ready to go!
I know people might get tired of me always harping on the 4 Pillars, but it’s true! You can’t improve on God’s design….and scientists have even proved it (for those that need the scientist’s stamp of approval….which I strongly caution against giving too much credence to “evidenced based medicine” studies).  I’ll touch on a little bit of that proof later, but first a little more on the design.
God created the most amazing immune system with first responders and memory cells.  The first responders have all kinds of cool weapons, from snipers to carpet bombers and flame throwers to hand grenades.  
Then there are the “memory cells” that are waiting in the background for the first responders to do their thing, and then those first responders will present some of the foreign invaders to them in order for the memory cells to get a perfect facial recognition ID of that invader.  Then, the next time that germ decides to try and breach one of our border walls, the memory cells and the antibodies they make will quickly smother that invader and prevent it from provoking the first responders.
Side note, when man, in his own wisdom, decides to try to improve on this design, disaster usually ensues.   For example, when you try and bypass the first responders that occupy our “borders” (the nose, mouth, airway and GI tract) by injecting a piece of a foreigner invader straight to the memory cells via a needle into the deltoid muscle, the system doesn’t respond optimally.  
Without the first responders engaged, the memory cells get stimulated in an abnormal way and the facial recongnion ID system becomes inaccurate.  This can lead to immune system imbalance, which can manifest as autoimmune disease where those antibodies produced by the memory cells actually start attacking your own tissue.  It can also lead to antibody dependent enhancement, which means you’re MORE susceptible to severe illness and death when exposed to that germ or a variant of that germ in the future.
Dr. Paul Thomas was the busiest pediatrician in Portland, Oregon until the medical board went after him when he decided to publish a study that the CDC was required by law to publish and never did.  Dr. Thomas showed that if a child followed the recommended childhood vaccination schedule published by the CDC versus a modified and reduced vaccine schedule versus no vaccines, the children receiving the most childhood vaccines into a muscle, bypassing the first responders, were more likely than their less vaccinated counterparts to suffer various autoimmune diseases as well as some infections like ear infections. (
But, even worse, a study in 2017 showed that all cause mortality in African children was 9x greater in boys and 12x greater in girls who took the DPT vaccine.  The author of the study said:
 “It should be of concern that the effects of routine vaccinations on all cause mortality was not tested in randomized trials.  All currently available evidence suggests that DPT vaccine may kill more children from other causes than it saves from Diphtheria, Pertussis, and Tetanus. Though a vaccine protects children against the target disease, it may simultaneously increase susceptibility to other infections.” (
Second side note, the term “all cause mortality” (death from all causes) is one to really understand.  If you are told a medical intervention like a medication, vaccine or surgical procedure will do something supposedly benefical for you, such as taking a chemotherapy pill to kill cancer cells and shrink a tumor, putting in a cardiac stent to open up a blocked artery, or taking a medication to lower blood sugar, the first question that should come to your mind should be:  “ok doc, tell me if this intervention reduces all cause mortality compared to a group of similar patients who took a placebo.”
If the chemotherapy kills tumor cells but also kills the immune system cells so that patients end up dying from infections more than the cancer, then what’s the point of shrinking a tumor if more people die from the side effects of the chemo?
Unfortunately, the covid 19 gene therapy injection is proving to not only cause immune system imbalance, making one MORE likely to get infected from covid (and other germs) but is also linked to increased all cause mortality.  Here are just a few examples of increased all cause mortality in various groups:

Third side note, this amazingly designed immune system is also used to positively ID cancer cells and take them out.  The same immune system is also in charge of cleaning up injured or damaged tissue in the body. The same immune system is used to take out and recycle old, dying cells in the body.  It really is an amazingly designed system, but it needs to be fully equipped and well maintained, all year long. 
Ok, back to the question of “boosting” the immune system. 
I’m not sure there is a way to “boost” that system.  God made it fully boosted, so it’s more a matter of unleashing than boosting.  I think the fist step is to understand and then to believe in it, trust it and steward it.  I know people probably think I’m a broken record, but it boils down to “just the basics” of nutrition, hydration, movement, and peace.  

Fear absolutely shuts down white blood cells, keeping one hand of the immune system’s troops tied behind their back.  You cannot supplement, eat, exercise or hydrate yourself enough to overcome the dampening effects of fear on the immune system.  

In the 139th chapter of Psalms, David says that God saw his “unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”  If this verse is true for all of us and not just David, then that verse alone can go a long way in disarming the spirit of fear of death.  

If God has aleady set your number of days on earth before one of them was ever lived, then it’s not about trying to extend your number of days, but stewarding your physical and spiritual body fully so that you can be all you were created to be, accurately reflecting your Father’s nature and the culture of the Kingdom of Heaven on the earth.

So, my #1 recommendation for unleashing the full force of an already boosted immune system is to KNOW THE TRUTH, take captive any thought that does not line up with THE TRUTH, and cast it down.  Abide in Him.  Be guided by the spirit of Truth who ministers to our spirit, spirit to spirit and don’t be guided by your own ways, your own thinking, your own wisdom that can be influenced through your soul by the father of all lies who comes to kill, steal and destroy.
If you are truly walking in the #1 recommendation, I believe the Holy Spirit will guide you in all your decisions and lead you down the path that you are supposed to travel.  I believe this will include stewardship of they physical body as well, but with proper motivation of stewardship and not putting physical things like diets, suppelemnts, and immune “boosting” protocols or gadgets up as idols or saviours. 
We know that the physical body, including the immune system, will function more optimally when it is:
-saturated with flavonoids, polyphenols, fat soluable vitamins, water solubable vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients all of which are found in nutrient dense food such as vine ripened deep, dark colored (purple, greens, orange, red) veggies and fruits, wild caught and pastured raised quality meats including organ meats, bone broth, high quality fats like butter, tallow and heavy cream from grass fed cows, and probiotic rich fermented foods. I could list hundreds of studies pointing to specific benefits of various herbs, veggies, berries, bone broths, specific probiotic bacterial species that are associated with decreased rates of flu, rsv, covid, hospitalization and death.
-properly hydrated with clean, mineralized water, herbal teas and properly grown, processed and roasted coffee beans rich in antioxidants and phytonutrients
-properly oxygenated blood and tissues via simply getting up and moving instead of sitting too long, proper deep belly breathing instead of shallow, upper chest breathing (and adequate oxygenation all night as well) and maintaining optimal muscle mass which keeps insulin resistance at bay, greatly improving immune function 
Dean Ornish is a physician at UC-San Francisco who has spent most of his career proving that diet and lifestyle can improve health and longevity.  Although, I agree with his dietary recommendations of getting off the standard American, pro-inflammatory processed food, we don’t exactly see eye to eye regarding his recommendation to avoid animal products (I fall more in line with what the Bible says on this and as witnessed by the testimony of Westin A. Price).  

Dean Ornish’s method of eating real food, moving, stress reduction and loving someone has been shown to reverse diabetes, cancer and heart disease, including blocked arteries.  He is currently working on a study to show the effects of diet and lifestyle changes on reversing Alzheimer’s disease. 
You can see in this article some of his latest research that shows “just the basics” are more powerful than the latest pharmacutical, gene therapy shot or high-tech gadget coming out of the ivory towers of academia:
Some quotes form Dr. Ornish in this article: 
“We found that these same lifestyle changes actually change your genes, turning on the good genes and turning off the bad genes, specifically the genes that promote heart disease, diabetes, prostate cancer, breast cancer and colon cancer,” he says.
And, he goes on to discuss telomeres, the caps on the end of our chromosomes.  When the length of these caps are shortened to a specific point, the cells die and you die.  Longer telomeres are associated with longer cell life and overall lifespan.
“We found that these lifestyle changes could actually increase the enzyme telomerase in just three months that repairs and lengthens telomeres. Over a five-year period, we found that these lifestyle changes could actually lengthen telomeres.”
“The more diseases we study and the more mechanisms we look at, the more reasons we have to explain why these changes are so powerful and how quickly people can often get better in ways we can measure.”
Dr. Ornish’s program focuses on lifestyle changes that can be boiled down to “eat well, move more, stess less, and love more.”
So, as the world continues to promote fear and then provide a man-made solution, I strongly encourage you to be in the world but not of the world, trusting in and stewarding the God-given powerful immune system already residing inside of you.

Do not put your hope, faith and trust in these worldly systems.  Trust the one who created everything, created you, knows you, and desires a relationship with you that will help you trust in Him for your provision and protection!
