Theory vs Truth
“Half of what we are going to teach you is wrong, and half is right. Our problem is, we don’t know which half is which.” -Dr. Sidney Burwell, Dean of Harvard Medical School, 1935-1949, addressing incoming medical students.
“It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you in trouble, it’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.”-Mark Twain
Did you know that the very foundation of almost everything that medical doctors in the United States recommend or do to patients on a day-to-day basis is based on THEORY?!
Some examples of modern medical theories:
-Alzheimer’s disease is caused by beta amyloid plaque build-up in the brain
-Depression is caused by low levels of serotonin in the brain
-Cancer is due to gene mutations
-Heart disease is caused by saturated fat and cholesterol in the diet causing blockages in the coronary arteries
-mRNA lipid nanoparticles (like the covid-19 injections) will just stay in the deltoid muscle, not travel anywhere else in the body, quickly dissipate and definitely not be able to be incorporated into the DNA and alter gene expression
In theory, there shouldn’t really be too much inherently wrong with proposing a theory…no pun intended. I believe it is fine to ask questions, explore God’s creation, propose theories of how things work, and design experiments to try and prove those theories. In fact, this is what we used to call “science”, until that term was recently highjacked by a few people in whitecoats at the top of the worldly, bureaucratic, institutional ladder of what I now call the religion of scientism….but, lest I digress, let’s get back to the subject at hand!
The obvious question with any theory, including the 5 modern medical theories listed above, is whether these theories are correct or not. Well, that should be pretty easy to figure out. Someone can just design an experiment to test the theory. Experiments require 2 things: human beings to design, set up and run the experiments and money to pay for all of that.
Unfortunately, the combination of human beings and money has a pretty poor track record historically, unless all those involved have renewed their mind to the truth of who God is and who God says they are.
If someone doesn’t know who God really is, then they can’t know clearly who they really are. This creates a perfect set-up, a trap if you will, where the person will be very vulnerable to a the prowling lion, the father of all lies and a thought will be introduced into their mind (via their soul) that says they are responsible for their own provision (and there is never enough), and they need to be the their own protection (and there is never enough), and they are confused on their identity, thinking who they are is rooted in what they do and how well they do it…ie the orphan spirit and spirit of performance working hand in hand to influence the thoughts of the unrenewed mind.
Human beings and money operating together in the setting of an unrenewed mind influenced by the orphan spirit and spirit of performance can find a way to produce outcomes in an experiment that support their strong desire for provision, protection and identity. Just because someone is a scientist or doctor with a lot of initials behind their name, it doesn’t mean they are immune to the same temptations that come to all of mankind.
This very thing occurred in the late 1950’s when one scientist, Ancel Keys, was called upon to give his opinion on what caused President Eisenhower’s heart attack. Dr. Keys proposed his theory that saturated fat and cholesterol in the diet caused heart attacks. He went on to conduct and publish a study, known as the “7 countries study”. He included a graph in this study (see below) that showed a very convincing curve indicating that the countries that consumed the most saturated fat in their diet had the most heart attacks.

There was only one MAJOR problem with this study. It turns out it wasn’t really a 7 country study but a 22 country study. The other 15 countries did not fit the theory, like France who had the highest consumption of saturated fat (those French love their butter!) but had the LOWEST rates of heart disease.
So, Dr. Keys, under the influence of the orphan spirit and spirit of performance in my opinion, decided to simply omit the 15 countries that did not fit his theory so that the curve would support the outcome he wanted (see the true curve below).

I don’t have the space in this article to go into detail about the flaws in all of the medical theories I mentioned at the beginning of this article. I will just say that they have all been shown to be highly questionable or just downright wrong! Yes, you read that right. When it comes to how we think about and treat patients with diseases that are amongst the top killers of Americans today, heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer’s and the covid-19 injection, it is all based on theories that have been shown to be highly questionable or false!
If you want all the nitty gritty details, please visit the “video library” on our website: https://veritasmedical.com/video-playlist/ and scroll down to the “First Tuesday Talks”, click “Watch Now” and then start in May 2022 and work your way up through December 2022. In the videos, I address how all of these theories have turned out to be false.
For more than 2 decades we have tried to reduce the heart disease rate in America (more Americans die from this than anything else) with cholesterol lowering drugs called statins. Well, if the saturated fat/cholesterol theory is not the truth, then you should expect that low fat diets and statins won’t have much impact on heart disease reduction, and they don’t.
Would you believe that MANY studies have consistently and repeatedly shown that statins reduce death rates by…..wait for it…..0.8%! Yet, despite these very poor numbers, there will be thousands of cardiologist all over the country and even more family practice and internal medicine physicians practically demanding that their patients take these medications.
Another problem with theories, especially in medicine, is when those in a place of authority confuse theory for truth and base their decisions on theories, thinking they are truth. What is even worse is when a doctor, in his ignorance and arrogance (another deadly combination), chooses to ridicule, berate, chastise and even fire patients for questioning or not agreeing with these theories.
In a enviroment like that, where theory is confused with truth and the theory turns out to not be the truth and doctors decide to camp out on these theories that aren’t truth, you can expect to have very sick people with very poor health outcomes, which is exactly where the United States “healthcare” system sits today.
And the best way to not be subjected to these theories is to not need that failing “healthcare” system! The best way to not need that system is to walk in the light as He is in the light, not being conformed to this world but being transformed by the renewing of your mind, and abiding in The Word so that you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free!
